The RTR Robotics Team is supported primarily by dues paid by student members as well as a few grants and monies received from corporate sponsors. We welcome donations in any amount from individuals and businesses within the community. Your tax deductible donation will help us pay fees ($4000 to compete in two District Competitions, $4000 District Championship, and $5000 Worlds) and to purchase equipment, software, materials, tools, insurance, and a long "wish list" of items. A new robot is built every year using different specs and during competition it often gets banged up requiring multiple replacement parts. Financial support is greatly appreciated and an integral part of our team's success. You may support our educational robotics program by donating directly to RTR Robotics Team 2421 by check or PayPal (see below). Contributions are tax exempt under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Since we are a community team with limited funds and not affiliated with a school, we do not currently have a permanent build site or storage facility. Each season the team requires short-term space to build the robot (January thru April) and funds to pay for storage during the off-season. In 2016, our robot was built in a Centreville barn while the horses were relocated for the winter. In 2017 and 2018, we used loaned retail space at Springfield Plaza made possible by Springfield Plaza, LLC.
